WHAT ARE MY CREDENTIALS FOR COACHING YOU IN LEADERSHIP?
I have a Masters Degree in Global Leadership (MAGL) from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena USA.
I’ve been in senior church leadership for over 30 years, serving as a co-senior pastor of two churches, one in Australia and one in the UK.
I co-founded and remain a director of a church-planting network (www.christiangrowthinternational.org).
I am the visionary and founder member of Kyria, a network for Christian women leaders based in the UK. (www.kyrianetwork.com).
I am founder and director of Cherish Uganda, a village for HIV+ children who have been abandoned (www.cherishuganda.org).
I founded and developed Liberti, a contemporary magazine for Christian woman (www.libertimagazine.com).
I have been equipping, mentoring and coaching leaders, both men and women, in the Church world for 30 years. In that time I’ve been privileged to have input into the development of some awesome leaders. I’m a leadership practitioner whose primary motivation is to encourage leaders, regardless of gender or generation.
I am the author of Speak Life and Shut the Hell Up, and Catalysts: You Can Be God’s Agent For Change, and I blog on bevmurrill.com.
I promise you that our conversations will be encouraging and helpful. We will collaborate together to find your inner strengths to strengthen in you the hope of your calling. We will endeavour to reach the solutions that will enable you to grow and develop in your ministry call. What’s more, you won’t have to battle the traffic to do it. Just arrange a call or send an email and we’re on our way.
Coaching can rack up some real dollars as well as taking big chunks of time out of your schedule, so working together electronically is an effective way to save time and money. You will be valuing the leadership gift on your life by working on developing it, with the added benefit of doing it from the comfort of your own home and in your own time, making international leadership coaching a real possibility.
As a young pastor, I knew up close and personal the sense of isolation that can accompany pastoral ministry, which can be even more intense for a woman working in the context where most role models are male. I would have loved to sit down over a cuppa for a chat with a mentor or coach to get some insight into the issues I was facing. We all need someone who has traveled further along the path than we have, and whose detached viewpoint can make us aware of the big picture.
Leadership coaching should inspire, challenge and motivate, while helping identify and neutralise the negative factors that cause fear and pressure.
I will listen to you and keep what you say confidential. I will endeavour to give you insight that will help you address the issues and give you a push toward positive, problem solving action. Working together with a coach is one of the most effective methods available to address and deal with the irritating and energy draining issues that all leaders face. I’d love to help you develop and strengthen the leadership call on your life. Let’s work together and see what breakthroughs are possible.
